“I never learned how to paint or draw, but I was still able to participate in this workshop with joy. I was surprised how easy it was to participate with zero skills! In the end, I experienced a healing in my heart concerning a traumatic event in my childhood by just following the directions given by Danielle. Thank you Danielle for such a positive experience!”

Art as Self-Care for Christians in Ministry
The calling to work in ministry is rewarding and beautiful, but our hearts can get heavy if we do not engage with Jesus in his invitation for rest.
In Matthew 11:28-30 Jesus says:
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Using a biblical and scientific foundation, I will lead participants through art processes designed to both promote rest to our minds and bodies, and connect us through prayer to our heavenly father.
Here’s what you can expect:
Review and discussion on God’s intended design for art using a biblical foundation
Education on contemporary neuroscience of restorative art making
Two guided art-making processes designed by me to address your ministry’s specific needs.

Finding Your Purpose: Using art to observe the desires of your heart

Using art therapy methods and prayer, participants will engage in a 90 minute process where they will explore where their heart is at and bring it to God.
What you can expect:
Biblical foundation for the use of art making and creativity
Discussion on the value of art making for Christians
One 4-step process exploring how individuals see brokenness in the world, God’s restoration, and their place in it.
Reviews:
“I found Danielle’s art therapy to be an integral part of self awareness. Through the artwork and creativity, I found some great insight into my past and feelings of abandonment. It helped in digging deeper and facing feelings that I had buried. The art therapy was an integral part of finding my authentic self and direction in my future.”
-Anne, Participant
“Danielle has engaged multiple groups and walked them through exercises to assist them with identifying patterns in their lives that can help illuminate purpose for their lives. After each session, the participants consistently communicate that they have been greatly impacted and/or unlocked by the sessions with Danielle.”
